The ticket to heaven is a life of mission. When a person does not deem earthly things important and is able to get out of their comfort zone to bring good news to others, that person is on the way to heaven. Their names are starting to be written in heaven. The mission, however, is not easy. Satan does not want for more souls to be won over for Christ. Every soul won is a fall for the enemy as stated the enemy is seen crashing down because more people are saved day by day. Satan will do anything to retain others under his power including using some people who supposedly are close to God but reject the mission. Jesus reminds his disciples there will be towns and places where there will be opposition. The disciples are called to move on from there but not first shaking the dust of their sandals. There will be those who are not receptive and it’s time to move on. And yet there will be those who will be open, and every soul saved, the "pen" in heaven keeps moving and the name keeps on being written. Nothing on this earth really matters. All is passing. So, it is time to active in the service of the gospel and start outreaching others, touching their lives with the comforting message of the Gospel. May the Lord increase from 72 Sent by a thousand or even more. May there be an army of missionaries marching their way unto heaven through evangelization.
