We could use monetary contributions to offset the costs to
keep the pantry cool and the food from spoiling.
The food bank typically also toilet paper, personal hygiene items
(deodorant, soap, shampoo/conditioner, washclothes, shower gel,
disposal razors/shave cream), women's hygiene items, baby wipes.
Many in our community remain laid off. Anything you can do is much appreciated.

The SvDP Healing Meals program is designed to help a short-term need. Meals on Wheels provides ongoing support for those in our community. Volunteers Needed! Caldwell Meals on Wheels is in need of your help!
They are looking for volunteers to help deliver meals in the Caldwell area. They currently need help on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The time needed is from 10:45 am until approximately 12:30pm. Volunteers always go in pairs and they would always send you with “seasoned” volunteers the first couple of times! Meals on Wheels delivers food on a weekly basis to senior citizens who qualify for the program. You need to be 60 or older, be home bound or unable to drive or not able to cook for yourself. To apply, contact Area Agency on Aging at 332-1745. They do ask for a donation of $4.00 per meal, but will not turn anyone away. It is not based on income, just age and circumstances. Some disabled people under 60 can qualify if on Medicaid. If Medicaid determines this service is needed, the application is done through them and they notify Meals on Wheels.
